On The Rhine From Kolblenz to Rudesheim and Crazy German Diesel Prices

On The Rhine in Germany From the Corner of Germany in Kolblenz to Rudesheim we are enjoying our time in Germany. We have had some snags. Language is one because we don't have any German language skills and people in Germany seem to be genuinely a bit surprised when we say we don't speak German but we are getting by! Acquiring camping spots is another mostly because of the language gap. Most people face to face are patient BUT by phone or internet it's a bit rough. HOWEVER, it's been worth it. The Rhine river is really beautiful and unique. It is a working river with tourist spots that were developed from true river towns and continue to this day being a combination. We have had a great time in Rudesheim and definitely got our steps in! WHAT will we do next? We are in Germany actually Speyer as this video is released. We might end up in Nuremberg, our favorite bratwurst and gingerbread town! We will be in Stuttgard for Oktoberfest before heading to Hoogeveen Netherlands to unpack the van and pack our suitcases for the trans-Atlantic crossing. Our 5th crossing on the MS Rotterdam I think we are getting used to it! We plan on following the Rhine like we first did on a river cruise with Viking years ago that gave us the idea to #vanlife it in Europe. Our plan after Stuttgart is to enjoy a bit more of Germany as the seasons turn towards Autumn! Apple strudel anyone? For all our friends,viewers, subscribers, Thanks for watching!
