The Walk at JBR is the heart of it - a 1.7km pedestrian promenade at the base of the towers. It's packed with around 300 shops, cafes and restaurants (Turkish, Lebanese, Greek, American), street performers, art installations and pop-up markets. It runs right behind the beach. In front of The Walk is The Beach at JBR - an open-air retail complex built on the sand by Meraas, with another 70+ shops, beach clubs, cinema, water sports, and free public beach with views of Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai.
