Gouache and watercolor Ukrainian witch cat painting process + Peru clips

Hi! Here’s my second experimental video where we dive into a full timelapse of my most recent watercolor and gouache painting (on illustration board) titled “I Saw You On The Night Of Kupala.” This painting is taking part in the “Fable & Folklore” group show curated by Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, and will be on view May 4th-25th 2024 at Copro Gallery in Los Angeles. ** And please excuse my narration, again- Still using a $2 microphone and am staying in a neighborhood full of ROWDY Peruvian street dog gangs, and the choppy edits and cadence are due to me editing out every. single. freaking. bark. * * ✷MUSIC is by my lovely friend Polimana. Studies in Ukrainian Demonology" by Vasyl’ Myloradovych PDF file (for the English speakers, my apologies that there's only a cyrillic version, but the illustrations featured in the pdf file are still worth a look!): https://shron1.chtyvo.org.ua/Mylorado... ✷Reference for Ukrainian hat can be found on the source photographer’s instagram @zlata_vovk ✷And of course I have to thank the lovely Daria for exposing me to the original witch illustrations in the first place.
