Hawas Boa First Impressions

Today we're unboxing Rasasi Hawas Boa. Let's get into the scent. The opening has Madagascar pomelo, prickly pear, green apple, and orange blossom. So right away, you get that fruity, fresh, slightly green, and a little exotic character. As it moves into the heart, you get tonka bean, driftwood, Flowerpool, and olibanum, which is also known as frankincense. This brings in some creaminess, some sweetness, some woods, and a little resinous character. Then in the base, you get vanilla and vetiver. As it dries down, the fragrance becomes warmer, sweeter, and slightly woodier. Now, there's actually a noticeable difference between the tester strip and my skin. On the tester strip, this fragrance comes across a lot greener and woodier. But once I put it on skin, it becomes a lot sweeter and develops more depth and character. And as far as what it smells like, I'm looking at this fragrance completely on its own. I'm not comparing it to anything else, and I'm not saying it smells like another fragrance. I'm judging Rasasi Hawas Boa for what it is and how it smells to me. So, is it good? Yes. Do I like it? Absolutely. For me, this feels like it's going to work especially well in spring, summer, and early fall. It's fresh enough for warm weather, but the tonka, vanilla, woods, and frankincense give it enough warmth and character to transition into cooler weather. I can see this working for everyday wear, going out, casual occasions, date nights, and even dressed-up situations where you want something fresh, but you also want something a little different — something that can help you stand out. Now, this is only my first impression. I'm going to give Hawas Boa more wears, more testing, and really see how it performs on my skin. But so far, I'm impressed. For a first impression, I'm giving this one a 9 out of 10. That's how good this fragrance is to me.
