Venus Grrrls - Carmilla (Official Video)

In collaboration with English Heritage, this music video was partly shot at the iconic Whitby Abbey, home to the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's iconic novel, 'Dracula'. 'Carmilla' by Sheridan Le Fanu, the novel that gave this song its namesake, also served as a major creative influence for Bram Stoker to write his infamous novel 25 years later. To set me free? Dark habits mean to die with a dark heart She repulses me But I can’t breathe When she’s near she stills my beating heart She kissed me silently And when I drift to sleep Night shades her needle teeth That suck me dry and deep Would you suck me dry, and deep Carmilla, ah ah, I love you Car-Car-Carmilla, I hate you Carmilla, ah ah, I love you Car-Car-Carmilla, I hate you When the night falls, can you hear me plead? When I call, would you come to me? Carmilla, oh I love you Carmilla, oh I need you Carmilla, ah ah, I love you Car-Car-Carmilla, I hate you Carmilla, ah ah, I love you Car-Car-Carmilla, I hate you When the night falls, can you hear me plead? When I call, would you come to me? Carmilla, oh I love you Carmilla, oh I need you
