This is TrackTown: The 800 Oregon Sweep

“The grandstands were shaking, my legs were shaking – it was an unbelievable moment.” On June 30, 2008, the grandstands of Hayward Field erupted as three Oregon-based athletes finished 1-2-3 in the 800m finals. Episode 7 of “This is TrackTown” highlights Nick Symmonds, Andrew Wheating, and Christian Smith's iconic 800 sweep at the 2008 Olympic Trials at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
