Sunday Blended Worship

How does the Bible apply to my life? That’s a question often asked when readers don’t see the connection between God’s Word and God’s world. Today we will address this question head-on as we study the longest chapter in the Bible (Psalm 119). Our goal this morning isn’t simply reading the Bible. It’s to absorb God’s Word; to pursue it with passion; to make it so much of our lives that it shapes our thinking, speaking, attitudes and actions. Most importantly, we don’t simply want to know about Jesus, but to know Him personally – as the Savior who has always existed, who holds the world together, who came in the flesh, who died for our sins, and rose again to reign forever. And the best way to embrace Jesus is by reading, pursuing, applying and treasuring his Word.
