It was impossible to accumulate enough Void energy to use the main power move, Fate! Also, you needed to fill the energy bar twice before unlocking Void Energy. Most opponents die long before you can do that, which meant you never really got to use the elusive 4th energy. But, that has all been mostly fixed!! You can now access void energy by filling the energy bar just once. Also, you can now fill the void energy bar, which unlocks the power move Fate. Just how good is the newly reworked COTV?
