Day Trip Exploring Culebra Island in Puerto Rico

HAPPY VETERAN's DAY AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!! FIRST AND FOREMOST! On this episode of WANTS OVER NEEDS we day trip to Culebra Island off the coast of mainland Puerto Rico. Along with Vieques Island, Culebra is one of two inhabited islands belonging to Puerto Rico and from what you can see in this video there are plenty of extra islands without residents. This is the "Puerto RIcan" version of a Culebra Trip. Wake up super early and catch the ferry before the sun comes up, get there, taxi/golf cart/Jeep your way around the island (1 hour trip tops) and check out all the beaches and nooks and crannies. We followed suit and did just that! We even stumbled upon a old hidden well with names carved in it from 1940! From Playa Zoni, to Tamarindo, and finally the world renowed and rated Flamenco Beach! Near Playa Zoni you can even see Saint Thomas, USVI as well as numerous other small islands we couldnt name. The ferry cost $4.50 and offers an assortment of rentals for items that are popular during trips for both residents and vacationers.
