Massive thanks to Deck & Dagger in Frome for letting me film in store! Check them out here! https://www.deckanddagger.co.uk
Everything you actually need to build and paint your first Warhammer miniature - from the box to a finished model on your table. Perfect for an absolute beginner (which we all were once!)
This is everything you need to know. I take a single Tyranid Termagant from sprue to finished, and explain the why behind every step, in a way that works for any Warhammer mini!
Covered in this video: what's actually in a Games Workshop starter set and the one thing it's missing, why you should never twist parts off the sprue, what mould lines are and where they come from, the difference between plastic glue and super glue, how to prime without ruining a model (and how to strip one back if you do), what all six paint types actually do and why the names matter, how to drybrush properly, how to edge highlight, the four mistakes every beginner makes, and how to base and finish a model so it looks done.
Want to paint yours in a full colour scheme? My complete Termagant painting tutorial is linked below!

SAFETY If you're using a hobby knife, always cut away from your body and hands. If you're under 16, please get an adult to help with this step, or use a mould line remover instead. Prime in a well ventilated space, and wear gloves when stripping models with isopropyl alcohol.
