How fast does the London Underground Central Line 1992 tube stock accelerate. Sadly limited to only 53mph instead of the design speed of 100 km/h (62mph), we travel on a uniit accelerating from Theydon Bois towards Loughton. Enjoy! These trains have good low down acceleration from 0-30mph, where the power seems to taper off due to the low gearing.
