The beginning of the Lower Kynshi is found in the southern part of Meghalaya a long ways down some very bumpy dirt roads. Once you put on, you paddle 25 kilometers down to the border of Bangladesh and find some rapids that live up to some of the best whitewater I've ever run. The shuttle one direction takes about 15 hours, so we took a good long 3 days of lifestyling in the warm weather and warm water to get it done. The whitewater on the Kynshi is for sure the most similar to the Cataracts of the Kern back home in California with it's big water feel, running though steep boulder gardens and bedrock sections. I hope you enjoy this little video of one of the coolest rivers on the planet!
