Disney's Art of Animation Resort Is CHANGING! (2026 Tour)

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is about to undergo a massive transformation! For the first time since opening, Walt Disney World announced a major new hard goods room refurbishment starting in Summer 2027. In this 2026 walkthrough, we are taking a deep dive into the current family suites and standard rooms before the construction walls go up. I'll show you exactly what to expect right now, from the immersive Cars and Lion King sections to the Big Blue Pool. We are also exploring the Landscape of Flavors food court to see if their pizza and sweet trending treats hold up! Plus, I break down whether this value resort is still the perfect fit for an eleven year old, or if the upcoming changes are worth waiting for. The Little Mermaid rooms are finally slated to receive space saving Murphy beds, making now the last time to see the original layouts. Since the resort will remain open during these phased updates, watch this before you book your next Disney vacation! #ArtOfAnimation #DisneyWorld2026 #DisneyResortTour
