Released back in October 2016, Battlefield 1 took us straight into the chaos of World War I—and nearly a decade later, I'm jumping back onto the battlefield to see just how well this game has actually aged. And brother… WHY DOES THIS STILL LOOK BETTER THAN HALF THE GAMES COMING OUT TODAY?! 😭 🎖️ GAME: Battlefield 1 📅 RELEASED: October 21, 2016 ⏳ AGE: Almost 10 YEARS 💥 EXPLOSIONS: Still absolutely ridiculous ✈️ PLANES: Currently ruining somebody's afternoon 🔥 ATMOSPHERE: UNMATCHED 💀 LIFE EXPECTANCY: We'll talk about that later Battlefield 1 didn't just make World War I its setting—it made the battlefield itself feel like an enemy. Artillery exploding around you. Tanks crawling through the mud. Biplanes fighting overhead. Buildings collapsing. Soldiers charging through smoke and fire while the entire map transforms around you. PURE. CHAOS. And that's exactly why we're coming back. I want to see whether Battlefield 1 still holds up nearly 10 years later, revisit the atmosphere that made this game so memorable, and find out whether stepping onto these battlefields in 2026 can still deliver that same feeling it did back in 2016. Because nostalgia aside… THIS GAME HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THIS CINEMATIC. 🔥 One second you're advancing with your squad.
