This Place Blew Our Minds! 🦅 World's Largest Bird Sculpture | Jatayu Earth Centre Kerala

Our first morning in Varkala started with an adventure! We rented a scooter for 7 days (for just ₹550 per day, which we thought was a great deal) and rode through some incredibly scenic roads to visit the famous Jatayu Earth's Center, home to the World's Largest Bird Sculpture. The drive itself was beautiful, and reaching Jatayu was absolutely worth it! 📍 A few tips if you're planning to visit: 🚗 Go early in the morning. The place gets much more crowded as the day progresses, and since there isn't a lot of shade at the top, it can get very hot during the afternoon. We definitely recommend visiting as early as possible. 🚠 Take the Cable Car! Our ticket cost ₹615 per person, which included entry + the cable car ride. We highly recommend choosing this option. Not only is the cable car a fun experience with beautiful views, but it also saves a lot of time. There is a trekking route to the top, but it's quite challenging and can take considerably longer. ♻️ No plastic is allowed inside, which we absolutely loved. It's a great initiative that helps keep the entire place clean and beautiful. 🍋 Once you're at the top, don't expect too many food options. We only found fresh nimbu pani, which honestly tasted perfect after exploring in the heat!
