Wilson Memorial Airport 2026 - 5th Place - Mid East Racing

Ended the race at Wilson Memorial Airport 2026 with a 5th place finish in the Trailrider Class. Not a terrible start but also not a good start. Got stuck in the woods behind a massive bottleneck. I really started to hit my flow about 10-15 minutes into this race. The track was tough but also had some great flowing sections. Many challenges to overcome on this track. I bypassed the enduro section every lap. Later in the race I ran up on the side of a berm and bent my rear brake pedal. I couldn't stand on my right peg and had to ride with one foot. I pulled over and kicked the pedal until I could get my foot on the right peg. Then the same thing happened, probably at the same spot. For my entire last lap I had issues standing on the peg and had no rear brake at all. Whereas I have been trying to practice using it less, it made me apprehensive to enter corners with speed without it. Just a mental thing I need to overcome. Overall had a great time. I wish there were more races left this season. Can't wait for next race season! #race #racing #harescramble #mideast #moto #mx #enduro #trail #trailriding #trailriders #rider #rider #honda #dirtbike #dji
