Tuning dial is cool looking. Band select switch is quality. Medium and Short wave reception was good for such a small radio. Color, that deep olive green is awesome. It's a great radio for those who need something small, light and has SW capability. There are other radios in this price range that perform better, but this little one will have many fans in the ultralight carry category.
