Can You Really Have Success Running One Play Over and Over?

Purdue is one of the top teams in college basketball, and have one of the most respected head coaches in the game - Matt Painter. His teams always run a beautiful offensive system that coaches credit as being extremely difficult to defend. This season, Coach Painter has gone to a particular action consistently throughout games, and during their home match up with Michigan State they ran this one concept 15+ times. This zoom concept has become very popular in the last few years, specifically in college basketball, and Coach Painter has become fond of it to the point that he's willing to start the majority of their offensive possessions with this action.
