ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳು......... Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most powerful devotional hymns in Hindu tradition. Written by the great saint-poet Tulsidas, the Hanuman Chalisa consists of forty verses praising the strength, wisdom, courage, and devotion of Lord Hanuman. Devotees believe that chanting this sacred hymn regularly brings peace, protection, confidence, and spiritual strength. Lord Hanuman is worshipped as the symbol of unwavering devotion to Rama. He represents courage, discipline, loyalty, humility, and selfless service. In the epic Ramayana, Hanuman played a vital role in helping Lord Rama defeat evil and rescue Goddess Sita. Because of his divine powers and pure devotion, millions of devotees pray to Hanuman for protection from fear, negative energy, illness, and obstacles. The Hanuman Chalisa is considered a powerful mantra because every verse carries deep spiritual vibrations. Many devotees chant it daily, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which are regarded as sacred days for Hanuman worship. It is believed that reciting the Chalisa with faith removes mental stress, fear, anxiety, and difficulties in life. The hymn also inspires inner courage and positivity. One of the most popular lines in the Hanuman Chalisa is: “Bhoot pisaach nikat nahi aave, Mahaveer jab naam sunave.” This verse means that evil forces and negativity cannot come near those who remember the mighty Hanuman. Devotees often chant the Chalisa during challenging times to gain strength and confidence. Worship of Hanuman usually begins early in the morning after taking a bath and wearing clean clothes. Devotees light a lamp with sesame oil or ghee, offer red flowers, betel leaves, bananas, or sweets, and apply sindoor to Hanuman’s idol or picture. Many people also read the Hanuman Chalisa while sitting peacefully in front of the deity. Temples dedicated to Hanuman are especially crowded on Tuesdays and Saturdays with devotees singing bhajans and chanting mantras. Apart from spiritual benefits, the Hanuman Chalisa also helps in improving concentration and mental discipline. Repeating the verses regularly creates calmness in the mind and strengthens devotion. Students, workers, and spiritual seekers often chant it before beginning important tasks or journeys. The mantra “Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram” is also closely associated with Hanuman worship because Hanuman’s heart is filled with devotion toward Lord Rama. Chanting Rama’s name along with the Hanuman Chalisa is believed to bring divine blessings and peace. In today’s fast-moving world, the Hanuman Chalisa continues to inspire millions with its message of faith, courage, humility, and devotion. Whether chanted softly at home or sung loudly in temples, this sacred hymn fills the heart with strength and divine energy. Devotees believe that sincere worship of Lord Hanuman protects them from difficulties and guides them toward a life of righteousness, confidence, and spiritual growth.
