Aston Villa 1995-96 Season Squad — Then & Now

Journey back to Villa Park to relive an unforgettable silverware-winning campaign with our full tribute to the Aston Villa 1995-96 squad. Under manager Brian Little, the Villans captivated English football by winning the 1996 League Cup with a resounding 3-0 victory at Wembley and finishing an impressive 4th in the Premier League. In this comprehensive THEN & NOW retrospective, we track the life paths of these iconic football figures. From Trinidadian superstar striker Dwight Yorke, Serbian goalscorer Savo Milošević, defensive titan Paul McGrath, future England manager Gareth Southgate, legendary goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, midfield general Andy Townsend, fan favorite Ian Taylor, set-piece maestro Mark Draper, and reliable left-back Alan Wright, see how these football legends look today. We also pay a solemn, deeply emotional and respectful tribute to squad members who have passed away in the years since, including beloved central defender Ugo Ehiogu (2017). This production provides fully verified status updates and current ages for all surviving members of the squad.
