The afternoon sunlight became softer, while street vendors slowly started setting up their stalls along the streets. As evening approaches, Yaowarat gradually becomes more lively, with seafood, street food, traditional Chinese medicine shops, local stores and small street stalls everywhere. If you’re visiting Bangkok, Chinatown is definitely worth exploring in the late afternoon. Instead of rushing through the area, take a slow walk and enjoy the atmosphere, food and everyday local life. 🎬 Yaowarat is also one of the filming locations featured in the movie The Letter to My Mom.
