It's 2020, the final year for JASDF of Japan to fly the F-4 Phantoms. This is a build of old mould kit from Hasegawa. I love Hasegawa kits, they always have a nice, respectful presentation of an aircraft subject even if they are 30+ year old legacy kits! It has got raised panel lines and the fit is kind of Okayish. I wanted to make it in a different color scheme. Since it is last year of JASDF Phantoms, I decided to build it as a tribute to the mighty colorful jets. I hope you enjoy watching the build.
