Cardboard Towering Inferno: Recreating the Epic Fire Scene in Cardboard!

Maybe you’ve seen the amazing 1974 film The Towering Inferno — it’s about a massive fire in a tall skyscraper. The plot was that a fire broke out in the building, but the firefighters couldn’t get it under control. So they decided to blow up huge water tanks located on the very top floor. Tons of water poured down, extinguished the fire, and saved the building. Since I’m a real pro at working with cardboard, I naturally decided to make my own mini cardboard version of that movie. I built a multi‑storey tower out of cardboard and installed a huge water tank (a pool) on the roof. I even put a little boat with a cardboard figure inside it. I’ll set a fire inside this cardboard tower, and when the flames reach the upper floors, the water from the tank will rush down and put out the fire in just a few seconds. For extra visual impact, I shot this scene in slow motion.
