How does a global enterprise application actually work with Azure Front Door, Application Landing Zones, Platform Landing Zones, and an On-Premises environment?
In this video, we build and explain a complete real-world Azure enterprise architecture from the user's request all the way to an on-premises file server.
We start with Azure Front Door as the global entry point and then follow the request into the appropriate Azure region. From there, we explore how the application workload is hosted inside an Application Landing Zone and how it connects to the centralized Platform Landing Zone using a Hub-and-Spoke architecture.
We then follow the traffic through the Hub VNet, Azure VPN Gateway and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN to reach the customer's on-premises environment.
🚀 What you will learn in this video:
✅ Why Azure Front Door is used for global applications
✅ How Azure Front Door provides a single global entry point
✅ How traffic reaches the appropriate Azure region
✅ Application Landing Zone vs Platform Landing Zone
✅ Hub-and-Spoke architecture
✅ VNet Peering between Spoke and Hub
✅ Centralized connectivity using Platform Landing Zone
✅ Azure VPN Gateway
✅ Site-to-Site IPsec VPN connectivity
✅ Azure-to-On-Premises communication
✅ How an application accesses customer files on-premises
✅ Request flow from User → Azure → On-Premises
✅ Response flow from On-Premises → Azure → User
✅ Data residency and compliance considerations
✅ Multi-region application architecture
✅ High availability and resilience concepts
✅ Global enterprise architecture design
This video is designed especially for Azure beginners, Cloud Engineers, Azure Administrators, Solution Architects and Cloud Architects who want to understand how these Azure services work together in a real enterprise environment.
Instead of learning each Azure service separately, we connect them together and understand the complete end-to-end traffic flow.
Watch till the end to understand the complete global enterprise flow. Don't miss it! 🔥
