My opinions on the two things I was testing.
12/48 gearing: Would be great for a dedicated hard enduro bike, or one where I simply didn't care about trying to be as fast as possible. I found that it basically just made me ride a gear higher the entire time, so I ran into the same issues of being in 4th at too slow of a speed instead of 3rd. Will be putting on 13/49 in the near future.
9mm Flo Motorsports Master Cylinder: My main concern was it not disengaging far enough for me to prevent my bike from stalling on heavy braking which is already a weakness that I have. I stalled about the normal amount for me so I'm overall really happy with the device. Noticeably lighter clutch pull that definitely made a difference. Super stoked on that. Need to do some maintenance on my bike before the Flagstaff Enduro, I'll be throwing on the 13/49 sprockets, a new chain, and also doing a countershaft seal kit. I am also wondering what to do for my next rear tire, I have a tusk Crossbite but I probably wouldn't wear through it enough before the race to justify a fresh one.... Might just splurge on a Plewes Beast!
