COSTA ADEJE 🇪🇸 A relaxing 4K walking tour along the seafront of Costa Adeje, in the sunny south of Tenerife: from the big Costa Adeje letters, past beaches, straw umbrellas, bars and shops, to Playa de Torviscas, the marina of Puerto Colón and finally Las Rocas Beach Club, hidden among volcanic rocks and natural pools. First a quiet path between gardens and palm trees, then shopping arcades, cafés, souvenir shops and entertainment bars. Along the way we pass beaches with sunbeds and straw umbrellas, wooden boardwalks and signs about the whales and dolphins that live in these waters 🐬: pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins can be seen here all year round. After Playa de Torviscas the promenade gets busier and busier until we reach Puerto Colón, one of the main marinas of southern Tenerife, with hundreds of moorings for boats and yachts up to 24 metres. Whale and dolphin watching trips start from here, together with jet skis, parasailing and diving. Next to the marina there is a small sheltered beach, Playa de Puerto Colón, also called La Pinta, with calm water that is never deeper than about two metres at high tide: perfect for kids. We cross the marina on a blue footbridge, pass the excursion kiosks and continue on the coastal path above the harbour, between palm trees and lava rocks. We finish at Las Rocas Beach Club, a beach club built on the volcanic coast with natural pools, Balinese beds and a view straight over the Atlantic 🌊. 🌼 THE BLOM SIDE OF THIS WALK A long promenade by the ocean where you can walk for hours without traffic, straw umbrellas, turquoise water, boats in the marina and a beach club on the lava rocks. Sun, sea and palm trees all the way. 🌧️ THE BLAUM SIDE OF THIS WALK Strong midday sun with little shade, crowds on the promenade, endless souvenir shops and "half price" signs, and street sellers' blankets on the ground.
