FROM GREEK VILLAGE DOMATIA TO TURKISH VILLAGE DOĞANBEY

During the Ottoman Period, predominantly Greek residents lived in Domatia, where later under the Lausanne Treaty, the Greek and Turkish population exchange took place in certain regions, and Turkish families had to move here from Thessaloniki and Kavala, and the Greek families from Domatia to Greece.
