Tracie discusses her stage work, Julliard, high notes, looking after your voice and how it changes with age. She talks about being the newcomer in a Broadway show, imposter syndrome, crippling stage fright and transitioning “Rent” from stage to screen – a film which also made Catherine want to move to New York City. We find out Tracie’s top horror films. She also discusses working on Tarantino films, and talks Jordan Peele, the real meaning of “Get Out” for black people, and her experiences of casting as a person of color. Tracie’s nightmares include terrifying encounters with dead relatives (prompting James to actually remember a nightmare he had!). We discuss weird animatronic Halloween decorations, and Tracie’s very specific routine for getting to sleep.
