UAF canola or Sarsoon, it is a mustard variety develop by the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics University of Faisalabad. As this variety is mustard it contains glucosinate and aurisic acid. it expressed very good high yielding characteristics. it will be very helpful for farmers. its main features are high yielding , short duration 110- days to 120. early sowing, February maturing. pod is very capsule shaped and not scatter or opend on harvesting that decreases the harvesting losses. grain weight and grain pod per pod are high. Very good resistance against lodging. yellow seeded variety.
