The Complete Origin of the Jedi Before the Old Republic

In this video, we dive deep into Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi and explore the complete story of the galaxy’s earliest Force users — thousands of years before the Jedi Order, the Sith, or the Republic existed. Before there were Jedi Knights, there were the Je’daii. And before the Sith ever threatened the galaxy, Tython faced an invasion that would permanently change the history of the Force. 0:00 — Into the Void 4:55 — Force Storm 9:15 — Prisoner of Bogan 13:17 — Force War — Part 1 19:05 — Force War — Part 2 25:35 — The Forgotten Era Before the Sith Dawn of the Jedi takes us more than 25,000 years before the films, to an age when Force-sensitive beings from across the galaxy were brought to the mysterious world of Tython. There, they formed the Je’daii Order — warriors and mystics who believed true balance required understanding both the light and dark sides of the Force. We follow Lanoree Brock as she hunts her own brother and confronts a threat capable of changing the future of Tython. Then the arrival of Xesh, a Force Hound serving the Rakatan Infinite Empire, throws the Je’daii into a conflict unlike anything they have faced before. Xesh’s connection to the dark side challenges everything the Je’daii believe about balance. His arrival eventually leads to war with the Rakata themselves — an invasion that forces the Je’daii to abandon their ancient traditions and begin moving toward something new. Something that would eventually become... the Jedi Order. The final chapter then explores what happened during the thousands of years between Dawn of the Jedi and Tales of the Jedi — tracing how the Je’daii became Jedi, how the dark side created the first Sith, and how the galaxy slowly transformed into the Old Republic era. This is the complete ancient history connecting the birth of the Jedi to the rise of the Sith. From Tython... to the Old Republic.
