What a Windy Day! // Snowbird // 2022 - 2023 Ski Season

What a windy day!! A storm was rolling in and the winds were gaining throughout the day. Luckily, Keith and I could find runs blocked by the mountain so there were a few calmer moments. I even ski STH for the first time ever! It took some mental concentration and effort with a nice layer of snow, but well worth it to know that I'm capable of skiing it. I'm looking forward to practicing more on that run throughout this season. This was the first time we'd seen an inbound avalanche where ski patrol (along with avalanche dogs) did a search of the debris. It was interesting and scary to witness, but thankful for their expertise and for making the mountain safe.
