The Fandom Got This Wrong for 20 Years. George R.R. Martin Said So in 1999

Jon Snow burned his hand down to the bone in Season 1. ONE BURNED. ONE DIDN'T .The show moved on. The fandom forgot it. George R.R. Martin didn't. Most people believe Targaryens can't be burned. This video explains — using GRRM's own words, the books, and 300 years of Targaryen history — why that belief was always wrong, why Daenerys was the exception and not the rule, and what Jon Snow's burned hand actually tells us about who he was built to be. This isn't a theory. This is what the story was saying the whole time. ⬇ What's covered in this video: 00:00 — The burn that changed everything 02:10 — Where the fireproof myth actually came from 04:30 — George R.R. Martin said it himself — in all caps 06:15 — Every Targaryen fire death in the history books 08:40 — Jon's real magical inheritance (it's not fire) 11:00 — What a fire wight actually is — and what it isn't 13:45 — Why his vulnerability is the whole point If you've been in the fandom for a while and never questioned this, this one's going to hit differently. Drop a comment: Do you think the show completely wasted Jon's Targaryen identity? Let's argue about it below. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for deep dives into the lore that everyone else misses.
