Iberia IB3207 : Flying from Brussels to Madrid

4th December 2017 It's time to return home. I fly onboard an Iberia 13 years old Airbus A320-200, EC-KOH back to Madrid, the capital of Spain. This is the first of four consecutive connecting flights. Our flight was scheduled to depart very early in the morning so we caught a train to Brussels airport and quickly made our way into the departures area (which is why I didn't film the check-in part). After a small breakfast, we headed to Gate A49 and boarded our flight. I settled in Seat 21F and the plane eventually pushed back from the gate, taxiied to the runway and took off heading towards Madrid. Meals had to be paid for so I decided to skip the service. Nothing special really happened onboard either. The plane arrived into a sunny but chilly Madrid and parked at Gate J56 of Terminal 4. Bags could be collected at baggage carousel 15 but it wasn't necessary for us. Overall, a good service with Iberia but I honestly expected more out Spain's national carrier. It felt like a LCC flight such as my Vueling flight earlier in the season.
