Super Mario 64 (Wii VC) - Gameplay - Part 1

This video starts a new series: a full playthrough of Super Mario 64, played using the Nintendo Wii's virtual console. This first part mostly consists of me just freshly starting a new save after deleting an old one and playing the first two levels of the game (Bob-omb Battlefield and Whomp's Fortress) as best as I could. I ended up having to go leave to see family, hence the abrupt end to this part. For some reason after I got back I decided to just stop the recording and turn the console off, so I needed to redo the red coins again in later parts. I recorded this as part of a massive marathon where I played several games I had access to during my family trip (which I'm still on as of this video's upload date) because I didn't have access to my usual stockpile of gameplay footage. I did however have access to a DVD recorder and my stockpile of DVD+Rs, so I was set in that regard. The setup I used for this was extremely simplistic - just a Nintendo Wii hooked up to a DVD recorder using composite cables. There is certainly a dip in video quality (even compared to standard VHS in some places), but beggars can't be choosers, and the massive stockpile of footage I was able to establish with those disks is enough to be happy with what I got.
