Life at the Edge of the World | Afghanistan's Pamir Documentary

High in Afghanistan's remote Pamir Mountains lies one of the highest inhabited regions on Earth. In the third episode of my documentary series Afghanistan, I journey deep into the Pamir, known as the Roof of the World, to document the lives of the Kyrgyz people, one of the world's most isolated communities. From traditional yurts and horseback journeys to the extraordinary mountain landscapes and rhythms of everyday life, this episode offers a rare look at a community whose culture and traditions have endured for generations.
