The Superboss so nice, I uploaded twice! While I really liked the edits I did for Unknown/Xemnas in the last video - giving his unvoiced lines an actual voice while adding extra context/scenes related to the encounter - I realized I should probably also upload just the raw normal version without all that, the way the game intended. Just to give a "pure" experience and give contrast to how different the scenes play out. Otherwise this is exactly the same video, the same Superboss and same hitless fight, making this the 5th and final hitless Superboss in the game, all done in one (my first) playthrough. I looked and couldn't find anyone else who's done the same thing, so I'll chalk that down to me just being THAT absurdly autistically invested into the games I like. I mean, I don't tend to save (let alone upload) game footage unless it's one I really like, so this is on brand for me. If you're curious about the edited version of this, it's here: Here is that edited video:    • Vs Unknown (SUPERBOSS / HITLESS) (w/Added ...   Given I explained the mechanics in that video as well, I may as well do that here too, because it's a really technical fight and part of why it's my favorite Superboss (also because of the heavy narrative/lore connections). He normally has 4 moves initially. There's the "lightsaber" blade dance, his energy wall, his electric energy orbs, and his teleport - all of which you can avoid by rolling or jumping. He can also grab you with his signature "Shock/Release" move, which lifts you with Force Lightning and hijacks your command menu with a ton of "Shock" commands and one constantly-moving "Release" command. You need to successfully select "Release" to escape the attack, while selecting "Shock" hurts you. Also the whole time you're constantly taking chip damage, so you're on a timer. He also doesn't take any hitstun, which makes it hard to land any hits safely without getting hit back, on account of him not only looking like a Sith, but being aggressive like one too. As the fight progresses, he becomes faster and a bit more aggressive, adding in laser attacks and an extended blade dance that travels farther. Once you get him down to 1.5 health bars left, he enters his DM (Desperation Move) where he surrounds himself in a spherical energy field and chases you down while firing out powerful beams of electrical energy that move around randomly. Once his DM is done, he becomes even FASTER and more aggressive, adds more laser attacks, and he adds in a second extended blade dance that he uses immediately after the first one, making the first one he does unpunishable. So here's what you do. To avoid his instant "Shock/Release" grab, you just make sure you have a summon out at all times. Due to summons disabling your Triangle/Limit command prompts, this has a weird interaction here that just straight up removes this attack option from the boss. That way you just have his normal moves to deal with. Now's the tricky part. I said he can't be hitstunned, and that's true 99% of the time, but there is a way to not only stun and stagger him back, but you can loop this too. If you cast Gravity/Gravira/Graviga on him while he's either neutral or using his energy wall/orbs, it'll not only actually stun him for a few seconds, but your you'll be able to land your combo finisher on him which knocks him back. If you take this a step further and - when you land your finisher to knock him back - do a backwards hop into your Gravity cast, this specific movement will cause him to always throw his electric energy orbs at you. This will guarantee he stays standing still for Gravity to hit while also making sure it stuns him, too. So all you have to do is - while you have Simba out - land Gravity on him, do a full air combo while he's stunned to knock him back, do a backwards hop into a fast Gravity cast to bait him to throw electric orbs while Gravity stuns him, and do a quick High Jump over those electric orbs towards him and smack him with another air combo during the stun from Gravity. Rinse and repeat. At one point he does try to teleport out of this loop, but if you're fast with the Gravity casts, it'll catch him. For the DM, Dodge Roll & Super Glide are risky. A stray laser can catch you, so I dismiss my summon just before dropping him below 1.5 HP bars so that I can then summon Dumbo before the DM happens, and use that to i-frame it. After that I summon Bambi (pausing to load him safely, which I cut out in editing) to block Shock/Release again, roll/glide the double blade dance he does, and land while casting Gravity to start the loop again, and repeat until it's over.
