APWEN Inspires Girl Students to Embrace Stem Education in Ondo

The drive to get more girls into engineering and other science-related fields has received a boost in Ondo State, as the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, APWEN, takes its STEM advocacy to students of Community Comprehensive High School, Ayede-Ogbese, in Akure North Local Government Area. The maiden outreach programme, held as part of activities marking the 2026 International Day of the Girl Child, is aimed at inspiring young girls to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
