Former Thiruvananthapuram Mayor and Former Vattiyoorkavu MLA V.K. Prasanth has launched an aggressive political offensive against the BJP-led Thiruvananthapuram Corporation administration following a high-profile eviction row. The confrontation escalated after BJP councillor (and retired DGP) R. Sreelekha requested Prasanth to vacate his long-functioning MLA office inside the Corporation-owned building at Sasthamangalam. Terming the pressure tactics an example of "Bulldozer Raj" and politically motivated vendetta, Prasanth asserted his legal rights under his existing rental agreement.
