Gutting My Mazda RX-8 Electric Power Steering Rack

In this video I breakdown the electric power steering rack and pinion from our 2006 Mazda RX8 project car and gut the motor out of it to reduce weight and steering effort. While the rack is out I also remove the steering column so that it can be simplified by removing the final pieces that are no longer needed.
