NEW Honda Civic 2022 hatchback static review: the most desirable Civic yet?

Honda's new hatchback is not only one of the big reveals of the decade so far, but it could dethrone premium giants such as the VW Golf... Why's that? Well, Honda has focused its efforts on toning down the hatchback's controversial styling while ramping up the level of tech available. There's a new infotainment system on the inside which is vastly improved over the old Civic, plus you now get even more sensors dotted around the outside of the car to prevent you from hitting things. The cabin is a step change, too, with a simple yet stylish aesthetic which does a superb job of making the interior feel like a stylish lounge.
