Jason Priestley 1993: Beverly Hills 90210 at Its Peak | Dini Petty

Jason Priestley, Beverly Hills 90210's Brandon Walsh, sat down with Dini Petty in January 1993, when the show was a worldwide phenomenon and he was the 23-year-old at the center of it. This is the other side of the storm. Not the magazine covers or the screaming crowds, but a young actor describing, calmly and clearly, what sudden fame does to someone who had been auditioning since he was four years old. The conversation turns quiet when he recounts something Luke Perry told him in his dressing room, about what the show would do to all of their lives long after it ended. None of them could know how true it would prove. Luke Perry died in 2019. This footage catches the cast at the beginning, when the show was everything and the future was still unwritten. This interview has not been seen since it first aired in 1993.
