Course Accessibility Refresh Session 3: Organizing Content with Headings and Structure

How students navigate and make sense of course content matters. In this session, we'll explore how headings, content structure, spacing, lists, and organization can reduce barriers and make documents and Canvas pages easier for all students to navigate and understand. Learn how to use heading hierarchy and other simple formatting practices to create clearer, more accessible course content—and discover how good structure can support students who use assistive technology as well as students who simply need to find information quickly.
