Fern Whispers | Botanical Gel Printing | Wild Heather Studio Inspired by a visit to Kilmore Quay in County Wexford, this layered gel print captures the beautiful shapes and delicate details of fern leaves gathered along the way. Using unbleached titanium, indigo, Prussian blue, permanent crimson hue and yellow ochre, I built up layers of colour, texture and stencilling to create this richly textured botanical print. One of four prints created in this series, celebrating nature, colour and the beautiful surprises of gel plate printing.
