I've worked hard, tried a lot of experiments, and put a tremendous amount of energy into things that haven't worked out the way I'd hoped. And if I'm being transparent, I'm tired, frustrated, a little demoralized, and feeling pretty untethered about what 2027 and beyond might look like. I've also realized that I can't keep responding by pushing harder or launching another experiment. I need some space. So as I prepare to leave for six weeks in Europe, including two weeks writing Dear Hazel at Château d'Orquevaux, I'm changing the assignment. I'm going to create less, manage less, experience more, and give myself some time to replenish. I'm not going away to figure everything out. That's a tomorrow problem.
