Canyoneering Leprechaun Canyon, Left Fork - North Wash, Utah Day 2, Canyon #1. I've done this one before. It was actually one of my first canyons. This thing is one that you take people through to wow them in the North Wash. It was easier than I remember. Probably not because Leprechaun Canyon changed; I just have more experience this go around. But although it was easier, it was also more fun and more beautiful than I remembered. Leprechaun has three entries: Left, Middle and Right fork. Personally, I've only done Left Fork. Middle is supposed to be more difficult and Right easier, but all three converge before an impressive section of VERY narrow canyon. Just before the fun runs out in the narrows, the canyon opens up slightly for the well known section pictured on the thumbnail of this video. A short walk through one more high and beautiful section and you're back at the wash you took in on the approach. The North Wash is great for canyoneers of all skill levels. And Leprechaun Canyon is one of those places you take people to make them want to get into canyoneering. It was great to be back.
