The game was released on September 16, 2014 through their site, lambta.co and Newgrounds (categorized as Hop n' Bop). Following the events of the first game, the heroic Koopa defeats Mario and his gang to avenge his friends. Right as peace and celebrations begin in the Koopa Kingdom, a mysterious flying airship suddenly appears. Bowser is captured and taken prisoner aboard the enemy airship. A stalwart Koopa takes command of another airship and chases the villains toward a distant, unknown continent to rescue Bowser and restore justice. Players can choose to play as Koopa, a Goomba, or a Shy Guy as they travel through new lands, face hazards, and track down the mysterious robed figure holding Bowser captive.
