The owl is traditionally considered a symbol of wisdom and knowledge, so I used an old Maths book as part of the sculpture’s theme. This project is also a way to creatively reuse an old book that was no longer useful. I’ll show you the complete process of making the owl sculpture—from creating the basic structure and adding volume with newspaper to shaping the face, making the wings, adding feathers and finishing the sculpture.
