Our First Days in Tokyo Were a Fever Dream 🦉🦀 | Japan Vlog Pt 2: Akihabara + Uniqlo Haul + AYCE Crab

TOKYO, IS THIS REAL?! 🦉🇯🇵 Welcome to Part Two of our 14-day adventure through Japan! We've FINALLY made it, but between the jet lag, the rain, and the excitement of actually BEING in Tokyo, our first full days feel like a fever dream. Our first morning starts with a desperate search for somewhere open for breakfast, which somehow lands us at L.Verus Tokyo Cafe and Bar, an OWL CAFE. From there, we're exploring AKIHABARA, where Yodobashi Camera, Super Potato, and Hard Off send me straight into nostalgic heaven. We're talking vintage Japanese Disney VHS tapes (that I absolutely cannot play), retro Nintendo games, Toy Story collectibles, and a Japanese Jurassic Park vinyl. I genuinely want everything. And apparently we also needed an entirely new wardrobe because Stevie and I managed to buy TWENTY items at UNIQLO. Yes, twenty. Somewhere between all the shopping, we're exploring rainy ASAKUSA, visiting the beautiful SENSO-JI temple, eating incredible tempura at DAIKOKUYA, trying conveyor-belt sushi at NEMURO HANAMARU, and finally getting our hands on some all-you-can-eat king crab at KANIMAMIRE TOKYO. A meal certain members of our group have been talking about SINCE WE GOT HERE. Add in some Japanese convenience-store drink experiments, the beginning of a special editions HEAD FAMILY CUP (UNO tournament) and a healthy dose of jet-lagged delirium, and you've got our first full days in Tokyo. I still can't believe we're actually here. And we're only getting started!
