Indonesia–Malaysia Collaboration for Sustainable Waste Management Innovation

Through an international community engagement program, Telkom University in collaboration with INTI International University and Desa Cimanintin, Sumedang, introduced the HydroThermal Cogeneration Incinerator (HTCI) technology as an innovative solution for sustainable waste management. The program aims to support communities in managing waste more effectively while promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. Led by Prof. Dr. Indrarini Dyah Irawati, the initiative demonstrates how academic research can be transformed into practical solutions that address real-world challenges. The activity also involved students in technology deployment, community education, and field implementation, providing valuable experiential learning opportunities. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing environmental sustainability through innovation, international partnership, and community empowerment.
