bc the voiceovers are german I will just write them down here again: "I wollte ihr nahe sein ... und konnte es nicht." - I wanted to be close to her ... but I couldn't "Ihr könnt nicht alleine gehen!" - You mustn't go alone ok, this period drama is a german one and so nobody knows it lol. But tbh: These two where my first actual OTP, when I didn't even watched shows. I began to read historical novels when I was 12 and the first book of this series was my very first one. And Christian and Marthe just touched my heart and I couldn't wait for this adaption :) I just hope some of you might like it and if you are german: READ THE BOOKS AND WATCH "DAS GEHEIMNIS DER HEBAMME"!!! also: feel free to ask me anything about it :)
